SPA ETIQUETTE & POLICY

At Inspire Day Spa, we strive to offer the utmost respect, service and care for our guests. Please take a moment to review our company spa and guest etiquette below.

Appointment Day

Please make sure to fill out a Massage or Facial intake form before your appointment. Any minor will need a parent’s signature on these forms. No outside food/drinks are allowed inside the Spa, except water.

Punctuality

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled service time.  This will give you time to complete any waivers or forms prior to your service and it will also allow for some time to relax and wind down while you enjoy our wonderful lake views.

Our expert therapist’s time is allocated exclusively for your scheduled treatment. If you are late for an appointment, we can offer you two options:

  1. You may opt to complete a a shorter service.
  2. You may reschedule your appointment, however a cancellation charge will apply.

Spa Dress Code

Spa attire, slippers and showers are available for your comfort when receiving multiple services. Lockers are provided for the duration of your appointment.

Please undress to your comfort level for body treatments. Your therapist will keep your body draped with sheets during the treatment and only expose the areas being worked on. With treatments such as body wraps, you will be draped with hand towels in order to reap maximum benefits. Undergarments may be kept on, or swimsuits may be worn if that is your comfort level. If you are receiving a body wrap or body polish, do not shave or wax your legs at least 8 hours prior to treatment. For gentlemen, please shave two hours prior to your facial treatments.

After Your Appointment

You must leave the room upon completion of treatment within a reasonable amount of time and do not expect anything other than therapeutic or spa treatments.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of the service but are gladly accepted and it is always left to the discretion of our guests. It is, however, common practice to leave gratuity for a service performed to your expectations.

Customary gratuity in day spas is 20% or more of the full value of the treatment. Unless noted, gift certificates for treatments and/or packages do not include gratuities.

Cell Phone Policy

To ensure a relaxing experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone prior to your service and also while inside the spa and relaxation areas.

Cancellation Policy

We require a 24 hour cancellation notice for individual services and 72 hours for groups and parties. In the event that you need to cancel your scheduled appointment please call our office ASAP so that we may accommodate other guests accordingly. No shows and same day cancellations will incur a full 100% charge on the credit card on file for the service(s) you were scheduled for.

Feedback

Give your therapist feedback as to your comfort and special trouble areas. We are here to make this the most relaxing and beneficial treatment for you.

Payment Information

Inspire Day Spa gladly accepts American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Visa, Cash, Debit and Inspire Day Spa Gift Cards, SpaFinder, and SpaWish Gift Cards. Personal checks are not accepted.

Promotions/Specials

Specials or promotional offers at Inspire Day Spa cannot be combined with other on-going specials. You must present promotions/special pricing when you check in PRIOR to your scheduled service.

Product Refunds

Due to the organic and natural nature of the ingredients in our product line, proper care is very important to retaining their quality and efficacy.  All product sales are final once they leave the Spa.

Gift Cards

  • Guests must present Gift Card when they check in and prior to receiving a service
  • Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash
  • Gift Cards are non-refundable
  • Inspire Day Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards

Children & Pet Policy

Children under the age of 18 who are receiving facial or massage services will need a parent’s signature on the Massage or Facial intake forms.

For safety and courtesy purposes, children of all ages not receiving services may not be left unattended inside out outside the spa during your treatment. No animals are allowed in the spa unless the assistance of a service animal is required.

We absolutely love babies, but we are not equipped to be a baby friendly environment without disturbing our other guests’ need for silence. However, Spafinder may offer some alternatives to new parents looking for day spa treatments with their infants. If you do have an infant or a young one, please make prior arrangements before visiting us. You may find yourself needing your own pampering time too.
